“My attitude is never to be satisfied, never enough, never.” -Duke Ellington
The old axiom is that “some are born to lead, and some are born to follow.” Unfortunately, some that believe this feel that once their leadership role is defined, there is no longer a need to learn and grow.
Just like a plant, if those qualities that make a great leaders aren’t nurtured and fed, then they become stagnant, and maybe even die.
Things change. They always do. And that applies to leadership principles as well. Great leaders are always learning, always improving.
Great leaders are never satisfied with where they are. They must move forward. Through education and training.
